Participants to this level will have little knowledge of greetings, personal information and the odd/ rudimentary word from apps and travel. The Beginners Plus Italian online course focusses on basic communication and comprehension enabling learners to engage in simple conversations. Students will learn essential vocabulary, common phrases, and fundamental grammar structures necessary for everyday interactions. With skills, individuals can introduce themselves, ask for directions, and order food at a restaurant. This level of proficiency lays the foundation for further language development and deeper understanding.

Participants joining this online course can understand and use familiar everyday expressions. Manages introductions and essential tasks like shopping and can ask straightforward questions or explain personal details about their lives such as where they live, what career they do, how many children they have etc. Interacts in a simple way with Italians and prefers that the other person talks clearly and slowly. A Post beginner is grateful for help and assistance along the way!Understands the main points in familiar and regular conversations such as work, leisure and family.

Participants normally start with 45+ hours of practice. This online course builds up speaking confidence with students who have already practiced with present and present-perfect and future tenses and builds on to more complex structures, like the present conditional tense.

Upper Intermediate/ Advanced B2/C1
Participants normally have studied Italian at least for 3-4 years+. This online course reinforces the subjunctive mood, introduces reported speech and the passive mood. Topics include current affairs, history and Italian trends, literature, music, theatre and customs. Students will be able to converse confidently about Italian life.
